Noah didn’t just want to sling dogs; he wanted to build something that brought people together. Fueled by a love for his community and a knack for innovation, The Grumpy Wiener has grown from one cart to multiple locations, winning awards and garnering headlines across North Carolina. What began as a temporary fix turned into a small empire, built on good food, great company, and a lot of heart. The Name
The name carries deep family roots. Inspired by the tenacity and passion his parents have always shown, Noah knew his hot dog stand needed a name with character. His grandparents, lovingly known as Papa and Bia, have been a constant source of inspiration, and it was Bia who coined the playful, memorable name that now proudly adorns the business. Everytime Noah sees the logo on his cart, he’s reminded of the love, laughter, and wisdom Bia has shared along the way.
